INSANITY: The Asylum

First, just what is INSANITY: THE ASYLUM?

It’s basically an intense, 30-day sports training program.

Not an elite athlete or aspiring to be one? Yah, me too. I chose THE ASYLUM because I wanted a program that would improve my agility and stamina, while  simultaneously burning a ton of calories to help me get lean following a bulking phase and leading in to the summer. The program also had enough emphasis on strength to enable me to maintain the lean muscle I’d gained in prior P90X rounds.

Here are my results:

As you can see, in just 30 days I was able to shed a TON of fat, but still mantain muscle. In fact, my arms actually got bigger!

My upline coach, Coach Wayne, inspired many on his team to join in a friendly “challenge” against a worthy opponent, team Xcellent Fitness.  Shaun T himself judged the winner. Look for the results in another post! For now, here’s the video from our teamRIPPED entry into the Asylum Challenge. Whether we won or lost, regardless, everyone who participated in the Asylum Challenge was already a winner!  We absolutely ROCKED it!
